The detail department is critical to our dealership because of the high number of vehicles we purchase, sell, trade-in and go through our service department that require cleaning on a daily basis. With this volume of vehicles, the detail department is a major part of our team.
Responsibilities
- Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle
- Clean interior and exterior windows
- Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle
- Clean engine and engine compartment
- Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
- Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
- Operate all tools in a safe manner
- Report any safety issues immediately to management
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to work in all weather environments
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Positive attitude
